Our youth pheasant hunt was a great success this year.
Some huge thanks go out to Bob Shoemaker and all the volunteers who guided the next generation of hunters safely through the fields and trap range giving instruction and ensuring a great time was had by all.

Gun raffle tickets 2016
I wrote in the last newsletter that there were 83 members did not turn in and/or pay for their raffle tickets. I did hear from 4 individuals and resolved the problem.
Guess what folks the cost to the club for the 83 members that did not pay up is $4,150.00. This amount covers 95% of the cost of buying the guns for the Raffle!
It has been suggested to members of the finance committee to prepay for the raffle tickets, possibly along with a member’s renewal dues. I hope this isn’t necessary.
We are 100% NRA membership Club
When paying your 2017 dues have you NRA membership card/number ready for us to update our records.
The range is back in the news
It seems I must use this space every month to ensure safety. Well Range Idiot Season Has Opened. Individual(s) are performing penetration tests on our range posts, and or shooting across ranges. Is it necessary to install security cameras to identify these idiot(s) and ensure safety? These cameras are expensive to buy and maintain. The cost will affect all of us, but safety is paramount! There is no cure for stupid, but you can change your behavior. My apologies to all who use the range appropriately
