Work Parties Work parties are the last Sunday of the month.  10/30, 11/27, 1/29, 2/26, 3/26, 4/30, & 5/28. Members these are the show up at the Blue Barn at 9:00am work parties. You will not receive a phone invitation from Bob Zehe. We have many projects to complete before winter. Your club runs on a volunteer basis and we need more members getting involved. If attendance remains as low as it’s been, then we may need to restructure policy with regard to work parties.  Should your club need a “Special Work Party”, one that does not occur on the last Sunday of the month, you will be contacted by phone from the list provided to Bob Zehe. Posting Party Eric Broud (216) 469-8060 need volunteers to complete posting our farmer affiliates land. Teams of two are the most efficient to complete this task. What a great opportunity to knock on a farmer’s door and ask permission to hunt their property! Posting party dates are 10/08, 10/15, & 10/22.  Contact Eric if you can help

Youth Bow Shoot: The youth Bow shoot was a huge success. We had 65 boys and girls participating this year. Wow what a great way to introduce our youth to the outdoors. The children not only received instruction, but, through the adult role models, demonstrated a high level of responsibility to interact safely among the 65
participants. Grateful parents took up a donation for our club.   WOW! Our thanks go out to Kevin Pace who organized and produced this event for our youth.  Fact: Kevin had 6 of 397 club members to assist him with this event.

Raffle Tickets Members your money is due for the raffle tickets. We need to pay for the firearms.  No One is exempt.

Pheasant Release This year’s Pheasant release is scheduled for: First release November 5th at 9:00am. Second release November 19th at 9:00am  There will be NO preferences this year The release will start at the Equestrian Center.

Farmers Fish Fry The Farmers Fish Fry will be held on October 17th at Keystone High School. Volunteers are needed and would be expected to be at the school at 4:30 pm. Please let Bob Zehe know if you will be volunteering.

Lower and Upper Range Gate Procedure Effective immediately DO NOT LOCK THE GATE AFTER ENTERING THE RANGE. SIMPLY CLOSE THE GATE AND LATCH IT WITHOUT CLOSING THE LOCK. We have adopted this rule for safety reasons.

Our new tenants have small children. Please exercise caution when entering the upper rang

Family Oriented Hunt Club

The Lagrange Hunting & Fishing Club has a long rich history in Lorain County with many more good years ahead of us. The Club started in 1933 with a group of Farmers hunting together and currently has 140 farms on the rooster. Today we support the local hunters and fishermen by hosting guest speakers on outdoor topics related to hunting and fishing at our meetings.
