Highlights: Deer Photo Contest Congratulations to Trevor Shull Jr. (adult entry) and Tim Walters Jr, (junior entry) our 2016 deer contest winners. Those photos are awesome! The bar has been set. Who will be the 2017 winners?
Wild Game dinner Judging from the smiling faces a good time was had by all. Thanks you for the food donations as we managed to feed our dinner guests well. A special shout out goes to all who set their appetites aside to cook and serve our dinner guests before partaking themselves. Although we fell short on member volunteers to serve food a special group of people pitched in to help. Thank you. Your awesome!
Updates: The March Work Party is cancelled! The scheduled work is contingent on good weather and dry ground. Work Parties: Resuming in April we will schedule a work party for the last Sunday of every month. Work
parties start at 9:00am. We need to see some fresh faces out there supporting our club! We have it pretty good, other Clubs in the area require their members to attend work parties as a condition of membership!
Posting Party: So far we have been unsuccessful in getting volunteers to complete this task. We need your help. Please talk to Eric Broud regarding getting posters to post on all farms in the club. Our signs are in pretty bad shape on some of the farms.
Rifle range The rifle range will get completed. At this point we are holding out for good weather and dry ground. And when the time comes we will need your help! The alternative to club member volunteers is paid labor significantly increasing operating costs. This could impact our Membership structure.
Please raise the orange flag located at the foot of the bridge when going to use the rifle range. If the flag is raised, consider the range HOT. When you are last to leave the rifle range lower the flag. This indicates the range is cold. Dumping personal trash, hazardous materials, or containers in the range dumpster is strictly PROHIBITED.
